vTap promotes The TerraMar Project in Texas

After months of plotting and planning, we are 'deeply' happy to have helped bring The TerraMar Project to Texas this fall.

On Nov 19, Ghislaine (Founder and President) and Rob (Director of Development) spent their afternoon meeting with faculty at The University of Texas at Dallas to explore the potential for collaborations with research scientists and educational specialists. UTD's School of Interdisciplinary Studies hosted a free, public Seminar for LifeLong Learners: Advancing a Platform for Transformation of the High Seas - after a fun welcome reception.

Also, through associations with the Informal Science Education Association of Texas and the Texas Marine Education Association, TerraMar was a featured session at the Texas chapter of the National Science Teachers Association’s Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching on Nov 20 - where more than 7,000 Texas science teachers gathered for professional development and personal enrichment.
